Renaissance Festival '08

This weekend we experienced the Texas Renaissance Festival in the big town of Plantersville, TX. Momma pug, The Mark Up, the Razorback, Madgette, Julie, and I all went together and we had a blast. Momma Pug and I completed the girls costumes in the car on the way to the festival and I thought both girls looked beautiful. (Especially since we waited until the last possible moment to complete them) Upon our arrival at the festival, we had to park on aisle 12 which had to have been 12 miles from the entrance. We trekked to the front of the park and entered the world of the renaissance. We were immediately greeted by lots and lots of boobs. I was unsure how some ladies were able to keep them from popping out the top of their dresses!
Madgette and Jiseung took no notice of this type of thing (thank goodness) but stood in awe just looking around at all the people in costumes, vendors in boothes, and all the people wandering around. We had a wonderful day, saw lots of neat things, had to sheild Madgette's eyes a few times, and had several good laughs. The one thing that sticks out in my mind about the whole event was the conversation and laughter that was had in the car during the trip to and from the festival. For another view of the festival check out Momma Pug.
